Stephen promised to take me to visit the chief and the local churches on Sunday, so on Saturday afternoon I ask to borrow and iron and he brings it to me.

Bat Encounter
We don’t get out much at night here. We’re pretty much discouraged from any kind of nightlife, and I’ve been too tired after training days to want to do any kind of group activity. I just want to have some time to tend to my inner introvert. But last week, we were late coming home from a session and night was falling. From the bus we saw hundreds of bats along the way home, very large bats unlike any I’ve ever seen before. It made me wonder if they were migrating, and made me think of Halloween.

New Tafo Adventure
During the past two weeks of training, we’ve stayed in our home villages for language training, for the most part. Technical training is from 3-5pm, after language, and they bus one group from Anyasin to Maase, or vice verse for that. (We are split into small groups for language training.)
